Annoucement
The 4th University of Munich Epilepsy Course gathers together an international faculty of experienced epileptologists, well-known as outstanding teachers and clinicians, to offer a comprehensive course in epileptology. The format of the Course will be similar to that of the Epilepsy Courses 2001, 2003 and 2005 in Munich and those organized previously in Cleveland, OH, USA.
There will be a limited number of didactic lectures and the main emphasis of the Course will be daily morning and evening workshops consisting of case discussions with interaction between faculty and Course participants. All faculty will participate in the discussions of case presentations, which will cover the problems most frequently encountered in daily practice. These exercises will include discussions of video presentations of seizures, EEG samples and also imaging studies.
The course is oriented towards physicians, who take care of patients with epilepsy, and particularly general neurologists, and pediatricians, neurophysiologists and experienced epileptologists looking for a comprehensive practical review and update on epileptology. We are looking forward to you joining us in June 2008!
