Deadline extension for VIREPA courses

Dear EUREPA Trainers,

with this mail we want to inform you on the deadline extension of two VIREPA distance learning courses until August 30, 2009 and would like to ask you to promote the program and spread this information to your colleagues and other possibly interested persons. Whereas the two VIREPA courses on “EEG in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy” and “Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy” are fully booked and applications can only be accepted for the following academic year 2010/2011, there are still places available in the two other courses on “Genetics of Epilepsy” and “Neuroimaging”. The course format, on an e-learning platform, is the same for all courses: The learning material (textbooks and references) is available for download and print. To achieve credit, tasks to be worked on in each unit are to be solved within an active communication process among all participants, guided by the experts in the discussion forum for each course. These tasks strengthen the theoretical knowledge gained from the learning material and enable the transfer of knowledge to the clinical practice of each learner.
